- **Work on an application together**: Several people work on one application at the same time: with invitations, a live view of who is writing where, and a full history.
- **Organise applications in folders**: File applications in folders and subfolders, with their own permissions and a warning before a folder is deleted.
- **Sign in with edu-ID and AGOV**: Sign in through existing university and government accounts, connected via Keycloak, with no extra password.

- **The first commit**: On 19 March 2023 a commit with the message «a brand new life» opens the repository. Sign-in, data model and skeleton follow within two weeks.
- **Organisations, forms, applications**: The core model is in place: organisations with teams and roles, forms, incoming applications and the people behind them.
- **Attachments on an application**: Files and logos live in protected storage, with permissions per organisation.
- **A dashboard with charts**: First figures on forms and submissions, charted on the app's home screen.
- **CSV export of the application list**: The filtered list leaves the app as a CSV file.
- **Queries and email templates**: Comments on an application, plus templates for the messages sent to applicants.
- **Comments on an application**: Your team discusses an application on the application itself, not in a separate mail thread.
- **A status per application**: Every application carries a status, visible in the list and on the application itself.

- **Custom columns in the application list**: Your team adds columns from the form to the list and hides what it does not need.
- **Server-side lists for large volumes**: Applications, people and groups load page by page, even at several thousand entries.
- **Internal application numbers**: Every application receives a running number of your organisation, independent of the form.
- **File preview in the application**: Attachments can be viewed right in the file, with no download.
- **Excel export**: Alongside CSV and PDF, the list leaves the app as an Excel file too.
- **Application list per form**: A switch above the list shows only the applications of one form, with that form's columns.
- **Sign-in with a one-time code**: The login link gives way to a code, so mail security filters cannot use it up first.
- **Sent emails in the history**: Every message sent from Fundament appears in the application's history, as it arrived.
- **Images in the PDF export**: Attached images are embedded in an application's PDF instead of only being linked.
